A Mid-Summer Update from Horatio School District
We hope everyone is enjoying a safe, relaxing, and well-deserved summer break. While our students and families have had the opportunity to recharge, it's been a busy summer across the Horatio School District.
Our maintenance and custodial teams have been hard at work completing summer projects and preparing our buildings and classrooms for another successful school year. Their behind-the-scenes efforts help ensure our schools are clean, safe, and ready to welcome students back in August.
It's also been exciting to see our campuses filled with activity through summer athletic camps and the start of football practice. These opportunities allow our students to continue developing their skills, building relationships, and representing Horatio with pride.
We would like to extend our appreciation to Coach Higgins, Coach Carver, and Coach Alexander for the time, energy, and leadership they have invested in our students throughout the summer. Their commitment—and the dedication of all of our coaches and staff—provides meaningful opportunities for our students long before the first day of school.
As summer continues, we look forward to sharing more updates as we prepare for the start of another great year. Until then, we hope everyone continues to enjoy the remainder of the summer, and we can't wait to welcome our Lions back to campus soon.
Every Learner. Every Dream. Every Day.
