I am excited to announce Horatio High School has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school that is Beating the Odds. Horatio High School students demonstrated high growth scores on the ACT Aspire. This was accomplished even though the school serves a high percentage of students who are economically disadvantaged.
Horatio High School received the following awards:
High Math Growth (#10 Statewide)
High Math Growth (#1 High School in the Southwest region)
High ELA Growth (#1 Southwest region)
The district would like to commend Horatio parents & guardians for partnering with administration, faculty, and staff to create excellent student achievement opportunities and encourage students to work hard and do their best. Today is another great day to be at Horatio SD where we focus on "every learner, every dream, every day".
